INTERNATIONAL WORKSHOP 

at WUHAN, CHINA

June 5th to 9th, 2015

Ice Breaker 6 Pm June 5th at China University of Geosciences, close to Guanggu Optical Valley and East Lake

Two day ( 6th and 7th ) conference at Institute of Geodesy and Geophysics, across the street from Li Yuan Hotel 

( most of the participants will stay there, we will sign you up there unless you wish to stay somewhere else ,  this hotel is close to the famous Hubei Museum, about 2.5 km  )

 The hotel is  located at a big thoroughfare  called  Xu Dong Da Jie , in  Wuchang, 

 

Please consult the map below for the various places in Wuhan and Hubei province.  Conference will be two days from June 6 to June 7 ( end of last lecture will be at 3:15 PM on June 7th. Afterwards there will be a tour to Future City, Wuchang, which houses new development of enterprising technological activities in Hubei and a reception will follow.

 

A two-day ( 8th and 9th ) reflective retreat at Wudang Mountain, about 180 km from Wuchang,  where we will have a more intensive period of focussed  discussion 

about the future of continental  and oceanic tectonics in a more serene surroundings.
